Vietnam-Laos Trade Fair 2023
The fair is the largest trade promotion event between the two countries, co-chaired by the two Ministries of Industry and Trade, and assigned to the Trade Promotion Departments of the two countries to coordinate with relevant agencies to organize it annually.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lao Minister of Industry and Trade Malaythong Kommasith emphasized that the Vietnam-Laos Trade Fair is one of the joint activities between the two countries, aiming to jointly promote economic, trade, investment and tourism cooperation, making a practical contribution to the cooperative relationship between the state, businesses and people of the two countries.
Minister Malaythong Kommasith expressed his hope that the 2023 fair will contribute to promoting trade between the two countries, and at the same time be an opportunity for the two sides to strengthen cooperation and exchange, thereby jointly creating new business models in the context of many economic fluctuations.
According to Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Ba Hung, the fair is a prestigious event where Vietnamese and Lao enterprises participate to promote and introduce products, and is a connecting destination for trade and investment cooperation between the two countries’ markets.
Ambassador Nguyen Ba Hung expressed his pleasure that the 2023 fair was organized on a large scale, with diverse and rich displayed goods, beautiful designs, high quality, meeting the needs of consumers in the two countries’ markets.
Emphasizing that hundreds of enterprises from both countries displaying and introducing products at the 2023 fair demonstrated the interest and confidence of the business communities of both countries in the development of Vietnam-Laos trade relations, Ambassador Nguyen Ba Hung believed that the 2023 Vietnam-Laos Trade Fair will be a great success, contributing to strengthening solidarity and cooperation between the people and businesses of the two countries.
